Yes, he confuses people deliberately, so that he can lure them into purchasing the upsells. At first I thought it was just me, but I learned this is how all the scam artist work. Finding Wealthy Affiliate has truly been a blessing as they take you by the hand and lead you step by step, teaching you all you need to know and providing the necessary tools.
With wealthy affiliate for example, you can join for free membership for as long as you want. When you are ready to take your business to the next level, you can upgrade to the premium membership for a monthly fee of $49 (no upsells).
Answer is “BIG NO” – Partner With Anthony is not a scam in my opinion. All the systems suggested or provided during the course are 100% legit as I am using them in my affiliate business.
Because of this annoying drip-feed system, you can expect it to take at least 2 weeks to get through all the course material so that you’ll be able to start earning with the referral systems.
You will also see pics and clips of Anthony success, which includes a clip where he was featured on CNN.
However, there are several reasons why this program just doesn’t add up to what it claims, and why its own founder has a somewhat questionable reputation as of this writing.

I did get that something is fishy feeling because every new section of training seemed to include some kind of upsell and each time the price was getting higher. You will be able to market any other affiliate offer to these leads if not PWA, so these emails become your long term assets. So the way you are “partnering” with Anthony is that he’s showing you how to promote his program, which means you’re both making money from each sale. It's a win win situation – as you don't have to create content or products but still benefit from what Anthony is doing to grow his business.

It sounds like Anthony is very good at marketing and this system is all to benefit him, as are most of the online “scams” out there. At least, this one promises a 30-day money-back guarantee, and I hope he honors it.
In other words, by the very least you need to be prepared to spend almost $140 a month (at least) plus $69.95/Year.
